Being an RPG protagonist is not easy:
- You have to solve the problems of complete strangers,
especiallyeven if they might not appreciate your help. - You must navigate complex webs of social interactions while on the lookout for potential romantic NPCs.
- You must dance to the whims of quest-givers so they can shower you with XP, so you can then move to another area and dance for a different set of….you get the idea.
Being a beat ’em up protagonist is also not easy:
- People do not take kindly to being punched.
