Let’s get down to business. First, here are a couple of new screenshots that show off one new location, the new HUD icons and KO animation.

Developer Arvind Yadav’s favorite thing about Will Fight for Food is the amount of freedom given to the player. “The player can help or fight any character inside the game, with consequences in the story. Instead of a world filled with unkillable NPCs and annoying companions, you are free to roam around and punch anyone – with the plot accounting for it.”
Now for the major news today. We aim to release the Will Fight for Food alpha on Desura on 17 February 2012. Mark it using e-ink on your digital calendars or something!
The game will ship with a complete story mode on release date, and we plan to add the following during the alpha phase:
1. New game modes and story missions
2. Quest editor and mod tools
3. Extra polish to all areas of the game
